We picked 4 winners randomly, and one from our favorite post. Our favorite post was:

We hope you enjoyed our New Jersey Squaredy Cat. It's tough to make a cat that "represents" an entire state without coming across as playing up to a stereotype. We certainly know not all cats from New Jersey wear red baseball caps, leaving the hang tag on. For those who questioned it, the cards are for Atlantic City. A new state cat will be posted tonight on the Facebook page. For everyone that's wondering we're still doing 50 cats for 50 states. We're going to take some breaks, though. This is a BIG project. If we skip a day or two to post a random cat don't worry. All the states will come in. Keep voting, and get your friends to go to the page, and vote!

Rain, rain go awa…wait where are you, rain?

Squaredy Cats sing in the rain.

So, we posted this "April Showers" cat in early April to the Facebook page one day when it was drizzling…slightly. Then we thought we'd wait for the big downpour to post it to the blog. The "problem" is no more rain is forecast for the rest of this month where we live. We're tempted to make a frowny face :( but no rain make us happy :) but rain is good for flowers, and we like flowers :) but there was very little rain :(
We got so much rain in March, maybe the saying should go, "March showers bring April flowers."

Tonight around 9PM Eastern time we will post the 3rd EARTH DAY cat on the Facebook Page. The first fan to post the words, "SQUAREDY CATS FOR EARTH DAY!" in tonight's post will get their name on an Earth Day Squaredy Cat. We'll post all three winners shortly after we determine the third.

Hats off to everyone in the USA!

We started our Nations of the World series when we were just starting our 50 Cats for 50 States series. So many people made requests for something other than states. Since there are so many Canadian fans, we naturally did Canada first. We'll be uploading more nations of the world sporadically, so keep watching for your country or go to the Facebook page, and vote on our wall. According to our stats we have at least one fan in more than a dozen countries!

Since we started posting Squaredy Cats for the 50 states we were suddenly hit with requests to do other nations as well. We loved the idea so much we immediately designed a cat for the most requested nation, Canada. Here it is on our blog…before we even get to say we got so many requests we'll likely do a cat for each of the Canadian provinces and territories. Give us some time, though.

Check out the cool shades! California came in second place in the voting for the 50 States Squaredy Cats. Are all of the fans beach bums? Nope! We started getting voted from almost every state, and they are pouring in! Post a vote for your state on our Facebook wall, but first check the album to see if your state is already there.
Our California Squaredy Cat was based on a cat we designed that hasn't been seen anywhere yet. It's one that will most likely be made for our second series of plush. We'll let you know more about that when we can!

When life gives you lemons — make lemonade. But what do you do when life gives you lemonade??? Say, "Thanks," of course! And drink it in along with sitting in on a Florida Sunset over the Gulf of Mexico. Wear sun screen and comfortable shoes ;)
We started doing a Squaredy Cat for each state of our great union, and Florida won the first vote! We did New York first because that's where we're based, but it seems most of our fans reside in the sunshine state! Keep checking the Squaredy Cats Facebook Page, try looking through the photo albums, or the "What State are you in" album. Check for your state. If it's not there, post a vote to our wall telling us what state you want us to do next!

Thanks to your overwhelming support we're getting requests for more than just states, and we're answering the call. This evening we'll be posting the most requested country. So, we'll be adding an album of countries that are represented by Squaredy Cats fans!
We chose the Statue of Liberty as a representation for New York because of its iconic nature. We usually think of the nation itself when we think of the image; but Lady Liberty resides in the good state of New York, and we're proud to turn her into a Squaredy Cat.

This is the last of the KISS Squaredy Cats from our fandom collection. We had fun making them since KISS is so much fun. Some of the fans on the Facebook page didn't know who they are, but that's okay. The star child is about going after your dreams, and letting nothing stop you. That's what we stand for too! Do what you love, and be a star!

This was a Squaredy Cat we designed a long time ago for the first Style Guide. We posted it to the Facebook page and you told us what your favorite dessert was. Maybe asking that question was a mistake because now we've got a sweet tooth, and the cravings don't stop!

A Squaredy Cat as Ace Frehley.

Shock Me is one of Ace Frehley's most popular songs from KISS. The caption may seem a little awkward if you know how Squaredy Cats captions are supposed to work, but Ace Frehley is awkward too. Probably the most controversial member of KISS from the fact that he was in the band - out of the band - a member again - not a member - hired back - left again. His make-up is so much fun. We just KNEW it would look good on a Squaredy Cat.

Squaredy Cats Zodiacs.

Sadly, this is the end of our Zodiac Squaredy Cats campaign. We loved your feedback and reactions on the Facebook page. It gave us new ideas on what we can do in the future. We hope you get involved with our next project. We're doing new Squaredy Cats for each of the 50 States! We'll probably do countries as well.
We saved Pisces for last because it's not only the final sign in the Zodiac, but the best sign ever ;)
It was one of the signs that we had ideas about way back when we did this one.

Let's get on with things, and post to last Easter Squaredy Cat to the blog. We saved this for last because it was our favorite. Completely inspired by that cartoon that seems to have been done by a hundred different cartoonists where the chocolate bunny with the tail bitten off says, "My butt hurts," to the chocolate bunny with the ears bitten off answering, "What?"
This is the warmest, shiniest, melts-in-your-mouth looking chocolate kitty you've ever seen!

It's a cat eat dog world

Squaredy Cats is not going anywhere.

Yesterday was April Fools Day, and we thought it would be fun change the profile pic on our Facebook page to a Squaredy Dogs pic. Whoa! What a reaction! We never expected to see such a revolt. Along with the changed profile pic we posted this cute Squaredy Dog. Lots of fans got it right away, and LOLed, but some thought we were seriously changing our cats to dogs. Though, some approved, it's not happening. Squaredy Cat is a word play on "scaredy cat." There's just no such thing as a "squaredy dog."…except maybe this one ;)
We look forward to next April 1. Don't forget we like to play around :)

Squaredy Sagittarius

We're continuing to upload our Zodiac Squaredy Cats to the blog. If you missed them you can see them all  at this link. Fan the Facebook page while you're there.
This was one of the most difficult Zodiac cats we did. We made several attempts, but because Sagittarius is half man, half horse everything looked weird. We finally settled on just putting a horse costume around the cat, but it kept looking like a savage caveman warrior or something. What really made it work was pulling down the center of the hood to give the impression of a horse face. The problem is the Sagittarius isn't supposed to have the face of a horse. Well, they all couldn't be perfect, but at least he's a cutie.
