Goodbye to the Year of the Rabbit

2011 was the Year of the Rabbit according to the Chinese calendar. Before we wish everyone luck and happiness for the new year (Year of the Dragon), we'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone we've met (including new fans) in 2011. Without you Squaredy Cats would just be like a silly rabbit. Instead we bounded through 2011, hopping along at insane bunny speed!

Goodbye, year of the rabbit. See you again in twelve years :)

To celebrate the new year we'll be designing all 12 of the Chinese New Year animals...

It's Chinese New Year!

Happy New Year! It's the year of the rabbit in China!

Hugs to our fans

Thanks to our Facebook fan, Abigail who alerted us to this adorable national holiday. It's National Hugging Day, January 21, 2011. Hugs to everybody who loves Squaredy Cats!

Hug the Squaredy Cats as soon as you see one :)

The Zodiac Series continues!

We welcome all our new Ophiuchus friends!

Last year when we finished our Zodiac Series we were sad because we had fun making them, and knew our fans were having fun seeing them as they came out. Now with some new astronomical discoveries that supposedly affect astronomy we have a constellation that is being recognized again after thousands of years of neglect.

A Squaredy Cat as the new Ophiuchus astrology sign!

Whipped Cream Kitty

Apparently there is a holiday of some sort every day. It's just a matter of popularity. Yesterday was National Whipped Cream Day. Here's the cat we posted on the Squaredy Cats Facebook page :)

Let us know what holidays are coming up that you want to see a Squaredy Cat made for...

Happy National Spaghetti Day!

Thanks to our friends at Catsparella we know today is a very important National Holiday. Happy National Spaghetti Day to you, your dinner guests, Catsparella and Spaghetti Cat himself!

Imagine

We normally post Squaredy Cats to our blog on a different day because the blog feeds our Facebook page, but it doesn't make sense to hold on to this one. 30 Years ago today John Lennon was shot. He was about peace, individuality, sympathy, awareness, goodwill and conviction. His positive messages are just as strong today.

To make your most impossible dream come true, you must imagine it first.

Rest n peace, John Lennon.

This was posted today to Facebook, Tumblr, and TwitPic / Twitter. Spread the peace.

S'more kitties, please
